Capital Facilities Plan
The Washington State Growth Management Act (the “GMA”) includes schools in the category of public facilities and services. School districts have adopted capital facilities plans to satisfy the requirements of the GMA and to identify additional school facilities necessary to meet the educational needs of the growing student population anticipated in their districts.
These plans include an overview of projected student enrollment, site capacity, a description of facilities needed to accommodate projected student enrollment, and a schedule and financing program for capital improvements.
