> > Only one completed application is required per family annually! < <

Free and Reduced-Priced Meal Applications are available at the Sultan School District Office or at each school office. Please return the completed Free and Reduced-Priced Meal Application to the Sultan School District office, located at 514 4th St, Sultan, WA 98294 or email Kaela Chong. You may also return the applications to one of our school offices if that is more convenient; please remember to list all of your students on one application. Free and Reduced-Priced Meal Applications are processed within 10 school days; you must fill out a new application annually and have approval annually. The Sultan School District Office will notify you by mail or email if you are approved for free or reduced-priced meals.

If your students were approved for free or reduced-priced meals within the last school year, then they are approved for the first thirty (30) school operating days of the current school year. The 30 day mark this year is October 15th. This is why we asked for applications to be submitted by October 14th.

If you were not approved for free or reduced-priced meals in the prior year, please submit a payment for any meals before the application’s approval. Any balances accrued before the application is submitted will be the family's responsibility as statuses may not be retroactively applied. Any balance accrued after October 15th will be the family's responsibility if no application was submitted or the family does not qualify.

Like, last year, we are still requesting the Consent to Share Eligibility Form to go along with your free and reduced application. You can conveniently find a fillable version of the document above in connection with the application and income guidelines in one document above. Without parental consent to share the free and reduced-price meal status eligibility, districts cannot share eligibility information with other local programs and cannot automatically remove fees.

Meal charge policy can be found here!
