Information on How to Become a Volunteer
We enjoy having visitors and volunteers in our schools and classrooms and invite parents to be actively involved in the teaching and learning that happens in our schools. The Sultan School District’s schools depend on volunteers to help teachers in the classrooms, help in offices, and assist with sports. We value the contributions of our volunteers. We also care about the safety of staff and children, so all volunteers must review the Volunteer Application & Handbook; complete the Volunteer Application and the Volunteer Disclosure Statement as well as an NCSI background check at least ten business days prior to the start of their volunteer service. In addition, there are mandatory Safe Schools trainings that all volunteers need to complete prior to working with our students. Safety of our students is our top priority!
