Sultan Middle School is now offering Homework Club on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 2:45-4:45pm in the library. If your student needs help with homework and picking up their grade- there will be teachers available to help them! Your student can take the activity bus home if they normally ride the bus.

On Wednesday, our Skyhawk musicians put on a fantastic Halloween concert. Choir started the night off with music from Hotel Transylvania and Hocus Pocus. Big shout outs to the students who performed solos: Sonrie Miller, Annalia Day, Kachyna Baker, Audrianna Elder, Addison Shipley, Marley Orme, and Hailey Harris. Up next was beginning band. They played in their first concert ever and the audience was wow’d with how much they’ve learned in such a short time. Intermediate band was up next and jammed out to Dr. Rockenstein and squished some bugs in Creepy Crawlies. Advanced band closed out the night with their Spooktacular renditions of Shadows unleashed and monsters under the bed. Great job Skyhawks!

Please do not park in the bus zone in front of the school. It spans from 4th st to the parking lot entrance in the mornings. The entire front of the school will be used by busses in the afternoons. There is a lot of parking on 4th st by the football field available. Thank you for your cooperation!

Open a web browser. Go to your School's Powerschool Parent Portal Log into Parent Portal with your username and password. Click on the Applications menu in the upper right hand corner. Click the PowerPTC menu item to schedule your conference.Abre un navegador e ingresa al Portal de Padres de PowerSchool de tu escuela o distrito. On Friday we held an ASB Assembly where we talked about what it means to be a Skyhawk and do our Skyhawk BEST! Be Respectful, Engaged, Safe, and Trustworthy. The ASB representatives introduced themselves and orchestrated some fun games for everyone. Nice work ASB!

Yesterday the Cross Country team completed the season with racing in the Cascade League Championship at South Whidbey. We had great performances from everyone on the team. We had a lot of personal records be set along with season records! Lyla Nicewanner had an amazing race finishing in the top for the team. Sarah Bruch had one of her best races of the season keeping up with a strong pack of girls finishing with new personal records. Weston Stenbak finished his MS XC career with 12th place overall and a new season record for 3,000 meters by a full minute. Caden Mellon left it all on the course having an outstanding performance finishing the season with a new personal record. Thank you to all athletes for a great season. Especially our 8th graders: Alexis Tubbs, Clara King, Weston Stenbak, and Milo Shroy. You all will be missed.
