Band 6 (yearlong)
6th Grade Band is where all students who have played in 5th grade AND students who are new to instruments come together and work through a method book. Depending on the strengths of the overall class, we will gain various experiences with our method books and sheet music.

Band 7 (yearlong)
7th Grade Band is where students take the skills developed as 6th graders and expand them to play a larger variety of songs and continue to build musical skills.

Advanced Band (yearlong)
In 8th Grade Band you will take all of the skills from the past two years, combine them with more advanced skills, and then learn to play more independent parts. It is the culmination of the past two years of band and expanding upon those skills in a variety of music.
