Parents, Guardians, students, and Skyhawk community,

I hope this letter finds you well as we reach the midpoint of the school year. Time truly does fly by quickly when our children are actively engaged in their education and extracurricular activities. I am writing to share some exciting news and important updates.

Parent-teacher conferences scheduled for March 13th and 14th will be by invitation for students who have D's and F's. We are reaching out to schedule those conferences. This is an invaluable opportunity to collaborate with teachers and support our children's academic progress. Your participation and involvement in these conferences are crucial in ensuring our children receive the necessary support and encouragement to succeed. Additionally, parent-teacher conferences will be optional for all others. For those who would like to schedule a conference, scheduling will be open on March 6th in Powerschool for the optional Parent Teacher Conferences.

I am thrilled to report that our girls' basketball and co-ed wrestling teams are flourishing, showcasing their talents, teamwork, and dedication to sportsmanship. A big round of applause to the coaches and athletes for their hard work and achievements on the court and mat.

The Homework Club, held on Tuesday and Thursday afterschool, continues to be a hit among our students. This program offers a supportive environment for our children to enhance their academic skills outside of regular school hours, reflecting the school's commitment to student success.

I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude to the ASB and volunteers for organizing a fantastic dance. Events like these not only create lasting memories for our children but also foster a sense of community and school spirit that enriches the overall school experience.

As parents, your support and involvement is instrumental in creating a positive and nurturing environment for our children to thrive. I encourage you to take advantage of the parent-teacher conferences to engage with teachers, discuss your child's progress, and work together to support their academic growth.

Thank you for your continued support and dedication to our children's education. Your active participation in the school community is truly appreciated and makes a significant impact on our children's success.

Warm regards,

Brett Chapple, Principal
